Dennis Hardy "Fergie" Frederiksen, a renowned American rock singer known for his powerful vocals, passed away on January 18, 2014, after a valiant battle with liver cancer. He was 62 years old.

Frederiksen rose to prominence as the lead singer of the band Trillion, which released two albums in the early 1980s. He later joined LeRoux, where he lent his vocal talents to their acclaimed 1986 album "Without Love." His career reached new heights when he became the lead singer of Toto, replacing Bobby Kimball in 1984. Frederiksen sang on their album "Isolation" and toured extensively with the band for two years.

Beyond Toto, Frederiksen also performed backing vocals for Survivor, notably on their hit single "Eye of the Tiger." He continued to work with various classic rock artists throughout his career.
